Commodity Symbols

COMMODITY SYMBOLS

Commodity futures contracts are quoted with symbols. Commodity futures contract quotes have three parts. The 1 or 2 character Contract symbol, the one character Month symbol, and the last digit of the year in which the contract expires. The reference guide below will familiarize you with the commodity symbols so that you learn how to read meat futures and options prices.
